Identification of Forging Bins & Containers

Paper labels can tear, fall off, or burn during production and transportation of forging bins. If product identification is lost, manufacturers take the risk that some of their customers will no longer accept the product, even if the product is re-identified after chemical analysis. Durable metal tags, attached with tag clips or in tag holders, provide reliable identification through high heat, further processing, handling, and shipping.

Printed Metal Tags

Use bar codes to track heat number, die number, grade, quantity, and customer information on forging containers. Since the tag does not come into direct contact with the product, metal tags can withstand extreme temperatures in forging operations as well as annealing.

Embossed Metal Tags

For low volume applications, embossed metal tags provide extremely durable identification. Using a manual or automatic tag system, emboss multiple lines of information on steel or stainless steel tags.

Plain Metal Tags

For low-temperature applications, plain Pannier metal tags make an ideal inslulator for paper labels. A label applied to a tag is protected from moderate temperatures and rough handling.
