Printed Metal Tags
Pannier Corporation introduced the
bar code metal tag in 1983 to enable manufacturers in
the primary metals industries to reliably identify and
track their products. Now standard throughout the steel,
aluminum and automotive industries, our bar code metal
tags can do even more than before.
Metal products, automotive assemblies,
and processing containers be tracked throughout many
processes including high heat, acid cleaning baths,
prolonged immersion in fluids, long-term outdoor storage,
and transportation.
Tags can be ordered pre-printed or
print your own with a Pannier metal
tag printer. Standard tag materials:
MCL1000
Elevated Temperature Steel Tags
Withstand temperatures up to 1000°F/550°C and
mild acid solutions.
MCL1800
High Temperature Steel Tags
Withstand temperatures
up to 1800°F/1000°C and mild acid solutions.
MCL1800A
Acid Resistant Steel Tags
Withstand temperatures up to 1800ºF/1000°C
for extended periods and immersion in warm acid pickling
baths.
MCL1000AL
Aluminum Tags
Withstand temperatures
up to 1000ºF/550°C
for extended
periods.
MCL1200AL
High Temperature
Aluminum Tags
Withstand temperatures
up to 1200ºF/650°C
for extended
periods.
