Tag Engraving Machine
The RV5 Tag
Engraving Machine is a fast, affordable solution for
permanent marking on metal tags and nameplates. This
fully programmable benchtop system utilizes dot peen
marking technology to engrave character sizes from 1mm
up to 100mm (.04” – 3.9”).
The RV5 comes
with 21 fonts plus the ability to print logos and 2D
Data Matrix codes. The long lasting, 100% carbide marking
pin allows for engraving on a variety of tag materials
including aluminum, carbon steel, and stainless steel.
Marking formats are easily designed using the RV5 software,
or it can be interfaced with a PC or PLC for downloading
data. Pannier also offers custom data options such as
reading data from Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.

The RV5 is available
with several tag holding fixtures to allow for creating
engraved tags as well as embossed or debossed
tags and nameplates. The rugged design of the RV5 insures
years of low maintenance and high quality marking in
even the most aggressive industrial environments.
